Davis Chapman was born and raised in Haskell, Texas. He graduated cum laude with B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from Texas Christian University (TCU) where he received the Fort Worth Mortgage Banker’s award for the year’s outstanding Real Estate Student and the Byrd U.S. Congressional Scholarship. Mr. Chapman went on to attend The University of Texas Law School in Austin, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree.
Mr. Chapman has distinguished himself with service to the public through activities with the State bar of Texas and its affiliates. He is a former President of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. He is also a former Director and Chair-Elect nominee for the Texas Young Lawyers Association where, among other projects, he administered the association’s grant program for public service initiatives and assisted in the development of tenminutementor.com, a website providing free educational videos related to a variety of aspects of Texas law. Mr. Chapman is a Barrister member of the Eldon Mahan Inn of Court.
Mr. Chapman has over fifteen years of experience practicing in state and federal courts across Texas, covering a broad range of complex civil litigation matters. He has extensive experience in personal injury, business, real estate, product liability and professional malpractice litigation. He also handles family and probate matters. He has been recognized by his peers as a top attorney in Fort Worth, Texas: The City’s Magazine since 2007.
